Estimate the value of a UK compensation package including base salary, bonuses, RSUs, ESPP, benefits and pension contributions. Net value is not the same as spendable cash.
Updating your annual estimate…
Salary and bonus are cash pay. Employer pension, benefits and shares may have value but are restricted, conditional or non-cash; do not add them to your monthly budget.
Enter only the share value expected to vest or be released in the selected tax year. Vesting calendars, payroll withholding, eligibility and later Capital Gains Tax are not forecast here.
The service uses a simplified annual rUK model, applies the employee pension rate to modelled gross income, assumes a net-pay contribution and includes entered benefits in gross pay. It does not account for Scotland-specific rates, tax codes, other income, year-to-date pay, benefit-specific NI/loan treatment or combined student-loan plans. Check HMRC guidance and employer documents.
Use these tools to examine assumptions that sit outside the annual package estimate.
Compare how a bonus or pension contribution may change estimated Income Tax, National Insurance and take-home pay under the selected calculator assumptions.
Compare bonus scenariosReview concentration, vesting, access and market risk before treating employer shares as spendable or diversified wealth.
Check portfolio healthExplore how moving eligible investments into an ISA interacts with disposal tax, subscription limits and provider charges.
Compare ISA and GIAEquity, pension and bonus outcomes depend on your plan terms, tax position and current allowances. These comparisons are estimates; verify material decisions with employer documents and HMRC guidance.
Compare an annual UK pay estimate with the value of bonus, shares, benefits and pension. The calculator separates estimated cash after modelled deductions from conditional or non-cash package values; it is not a payslip or personal tax calculation.
This sample uses the 2026/27 tax year. Enter only share value expected to vest or release this year; an unvested award is not current-year compensation. The service uses rUK defaults and does not offer Scotland-specific Income Tax settings.
The estimate assumes an illustrative 15% ESPP discount, simplified taxable-benefit treatment and a net-pay pension deduction. It does not model scheme eligibility, benefit-specific National Insurance or student-loan treatment, year-to-date payroll, tax codes, or combined student-loan plans. Check employer plan documents and HMRC guidance before relying on a package comparison.
